Moist cloud forest; ca. 1190-1250 m. alt. Melastomes: Miconia dodecandra, M. quadrangularis, M. tetrandra, Mecranium spp., Meriania spp., Conostegia montana, Blakea trinerva. Occasional. Clay soil.

Description
Shrub or small tree to 4 m tall; flowers white, anthers white (actinomorphic). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
