Cloud forest with Miconia, Alsophila, Blakea, Podocarpus, Brunellia, Clusia, Mecranium, Hedyosmum, Cyrilla, Meriania, Schefflera, Psychotria, Conostegia, Ossaea, and Cephaelis. Uncommon.

Description
Small tree ca. 4.5 m tall. Bark gray-brown. Flowers white. Young fruits green, tinged with red-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
