    In shaded thicket above roadcut. Disturbed hardwood forest on limestone. With Myrsine, Eupatorium, Heterotrichum, Miconia, Coccoloba, Solanum, Oreopanax, and Garrya. Locally common.

    Shrub ca. 3 m tall. Petals white. Hypanthium green, tinged with red-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
