Forest of Pinus occidentalis. Growing with Tetrazygia bicolor, Clidemia umbellata, C. hirta. Very common.

Description
Shrub to 3 m tall; flowers with petals white, narrow, and acute at apex; anthers white; young fruit reddish green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
