    Note: Annot. by Marc Stadler (Wuppertal, Apr 2005): "Pyrenomyxa picea . . . We found that Pulveria is congeneric with Pyrenomxya Morgan, an earlier synonym, and think that P. porrecta is a synonym of Hypoxylon piceum Ellis, another earlier synonym."
