Habitat
N. aspect, slope ca. 30%. Found with Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, Rosa woodsii, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Geranium viscosissimum, Zigadenus paniculatus, Hackelia patens, Elymus spicatus and Leucopoa kingii. Abundant for site. Thin rocky, well drained soil derived from metamorphic rock.
