Secondary wet forest. Infrequent.

Description
Tree 10 m tall. Stilt roots ca. 50 cm tall. Terminal leaves 4-verticillate, the lower ones sometimes opposite. Sympatric with Grias sp. nov. (Cornejo 8083). Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
