Remnant of Floresta Subcaducifolia Tropical, ca. 20°36'S, 41°171W. Trees to 2.5 m tall, 3 cm dbh, normally branched. Calyx and petals fuchsia-pink, petals fleshy, thick, anthers yellow, ovary green.
