Description
Pileus 2-4 cm broad, dark magenta (13F8) when young and fresh, fading to a grayish magenta (13D-E7,6) with age, eventually dull ochraceous on disc, glutinous overall. Flesh dull magenta, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adenxed to emarginate, pallid at first soon concolorous with pileus or somewhat paler, losing magenta tones with age, close and broad, with even nonmarginate edges. Stipe 2.5-6 cm long, 0.5-1 cm broad, ±equal to slighty broader below, concolorous with pileus, but paler toward base, glutinous but dry and silky shiny above annular zone.
