SHERIDAN COUNTY: Walgren Lake, state area (old name of
lake - Alkali Lake). Edge of sandy meadow and disturbed
ground next to old dirt road, plant hybrid in small
colony in association with Agropyron repens, Hoadeum
jubatum, and Elyraus canadensis. Specimens with creeping
rhizomes and disarticulating at the base of each seg-
ment of the rachis.
