Description
Herb several years old, producing lateral shoots sympodially and prolifically; sap mucilagenous and clear; inflorescence produced about the same time every year, from first bud to anthesis ca 2 weeks long, the flower becoming an inflated ball, opening suddenly for a few days, then withering; corolla yellow/green outside, inside purple lined; odor mildly unpleasant; plant growing in small pot in ENE-facing window.
