In montane forest remnant along stream. Common. Culms 1 cm in
diameter, 6-8 m tall, erect at the base, then arching or scrambling.
Internodes 25-30 cm long, more or less smooth. Culm leaves abaxially
glabrous, sheath with the apex more or less auriculate, blade reflexed, about
1/5-1/6 of the sheath. Treated with 70% EtOH.
