    Culms scandent, to 2-2.5 cm. basal diameter, to 7 m. tall. Culms leaves with the blade about 1/3-1/4 of the sheath length. All vegetative. Secondary branches numerous. Treated with 70% EtOH. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
