Description
Culms hollow, about 1-1.5 cm. in diameter, fragile, breaking very easily; smooth or seabrous only in thin, young branches. Branches up to 10 m. high, climbing or leaning over trees and palms. Culms sheaths deciduous with reflexed deciduous blade. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
