Light brown sand. "Carrasco" vegetation, a dense secondary scrub formed from arboreal xeromorphic woodland ("cerradão"), containing mostly Combretum leprosum with some Connarus & Strypnodendron.

Description
Shrub 2 1/2 m tall. Calyx cup light brownish-green, inner ring of hairs light brown. Petals white; filaments pale yellow; anthers pale yellow, turning brown; style pale yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
