Habitat
Collected in understory on slope above inland, saltwater lake. Wet tropical evergreen forest on raised limestone karst. 75% canopy cover. Diverse forest with Horsefeldia and Eugenia as common elements.

Description
Palm, 7 m tall. Fronds to 2 m. Prop roots at base of stem. Approx. 20 pairs of pinnae per leaf. Light green sheath below leaves very distinct from stem, 0.5 m long. Stem "ringed" from leaf scars. Inflorescences with tertiary branching. Several juve.
