"chapada" woodland, semi-closed part at head of a brook gully; most trees here with leaves at present (height of dry season). [See label for further habitat description.].

Description
tree 8 m. tall, trunk 45 cm. d.b.h. divides at 1 ½m. from ground. Crown covers a circular area of 30 feet diam. Newly opened petals longitudinally striped with white & pink, older petals purplish-pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
