Terra firme forest; sandy soil; wet along bank, dry upslope, dry upslope; gentle undulations, a few steep slopes.

Description
Tree 25m. tall, 150cm. circum.; fls. small, pink turning red; immature fr. green turning bright orange-red, with typical inflated black aril. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
