Brazil. Mato Grosso do Sul. Corumbá Mun. Along the shore of Canal Pedro that conects Lagoa Uberaba and Lagoa Gaiba.

Habitat
The plants were growing in a band from the water's edge back up the sloping shore for a distance of 20-25 ft., in somewhat reduced gray argillaceous soil and calcareous gravel. It is suspected that the band is inundated during the season of high water in the Pantanal. No plants of Arachis were found in the extensive contiguous grassland more distant from the shore.

Description
Plants in full bloom with pure yellow standards and wings in more than 99% of the plants. Less than 1 % of the plants had flowers with orange standards. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
