Alluvial fan down from mouth of canyon. Soft silty pumice soil.
With Pinus monophylla, Artemesia tridentata, Purshia tridentata,
Prunus andersonii, Phacelia bicolor, Phlox stansburyi.
Low, widely scattered, Flws white, open in day.
