Habitat
Transition forest is relatively short with a few large emergents. Level, relatively undisturbed (some charcoal in soil), understory open, some areas of tree fall with many vines. [See label for further habitat description.].

Transition forest is relatively short with a few large emergents. Level, relatively undisturbed (some charcoal in soil), understory open, some areas of tree fall with many vines. The only mature forest in the entire region; the rest has been clearcut. Pariana dominates understory; Rutaceae and Rubiaceae, subcanopy; Cenostigma, Duguetia, Annona, Cassia, Dipteryx, Guabiraba (Myrtaceae), canopy. Shrub of l-1.3m.; yellow, fleshy, ridged fr. E.L.
