North aspect, slope ca 30%, think rocky, well drained soil derived from metamorphic rock. Found with Acer glabrum, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, Rosa woodsii, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Geranium viscosissimum, Zigadenus paniculatus, Hackelia patens, Elymus spicatus and Leucopoa kingii.
