Georgia. Lagodekhi Nature Reserve. On a southwestern-facing slope of a stream-dissected ridge system ("Sedlavina") about 1.5 air miles east of the meteorological station ("Meteo Sta.") and field cabin from a minor pass on the trail from Meteo Station to Lekisaplavi at about 41º42'34"N, 46º22'46"E to near a deep river gorge at about 41º53'09"N, 46º22'39"E.

Habitat
Associated with scattered ferns, Juniperus and grass, Carex, Epilobium, Hieracleum, Inula, Ligusticum, Rhododendron, Sedum, and Vaccinium.

Plants to 2 m tall; flowers light purplish-pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
