sandstone outcrops with shrubby vegetation, adjacent grassy slopes, and valley of small stream; mostly sandy soil, but with overlying black humus in many places.

Shrub 1.5m tall; corolla tube red, the lobes white; flowers fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
