Botany Fieldwork funded by The V. Kann Rasmussen
Foundation.
Use:
Food - An edible fruit/berry. When the fruit is'
purple it is ripe. Scrape off the rough part of the
ripe fruit with a bamboo leaf (Bambusa vulgaris
Schrad. ex Wendland) and eat.
