Geum rossii / Carex turf and windswept fellfield. Associated with Oxyria digyna, Potentilla fruitcosa, Festuca ovina, Phlox pulvinata, Sedum lanceolatum, Smelowskia calycina and Agropyron scribneri. Plants rare near summit. Quartzite talus.
