    Alpine tundra, 5% slope, southern exposure. With Ivesia gordonii, Carex elynoides, Phlox pulvinata, Arenaria obtusiloba, Poa incurva, Sedum lanceolatum, Lupinus argenteus and Linum perenne. Common. Thin, rocky soil from calcareous and quartzite parent material.
