Habitat
Granitic, rocky but well-vegetated glacial moraine. In a near-alpine community of Phlox pulvinata, Ivesia gordonii, Astragalus kentrophyta, and Carex proposita. Common.

Plants dwarfed; corolla blue, the tube apparently declined. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
