Habitat
[Pinus tecunumanii ] associated with Pinus caribaea at lower elevations, and Pinus maximoni at upper end of altitudinal range. Liquidambar found in stream valleys.

Description
Tree. Tree No. 20 of an individual tree collection of resin. Very extensive stands of the species on rolling savannah. Trees of good form; medium sized; typically flaky-red bark. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
