Habitat
Associated with Pinus oocarpa and Pinus maximinoi. Common in small stands on landl largely cleared for agriculture.

Description
Tree. Tree No. 28 of an individual tree seed collection. A few remnnat stands with immense trees (40 m. top height, over 1 m. DBH). Mainly smaller trtees of reasonable form. Bark is typically red and flakey on upper stem. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
