United States of America. California. Mono Co. Glass Mountain Region: North Canyon, approximately 750m south of Hwy 120, due south of Granite Mountain.

Habitat
Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Hwy 120, cutting through Bishop tuff rhyolite. Heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry stream and soft pumice/rhyolite soil. With Pinus monophylla, small P. jeffryi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Purshia tridentata, Tetradymia canescens, Cryptantha confertiflora, Hesperostipa comata. Scattered, mostly on N-facing sandy slopes in canyon.
