Habitat
On steep upland ridge and south-facing slope. With Quercus prinus, Pinus virginiana, Juniperus virginiana. On lightly shaded siltstone boulder on xeric upper slope.

Description
Atranorin, plus a few faint bands; epithecium sparsely granular, P+ vivid orange, with abundant needle-like crystal clusters.
