Protologue on mounting sheet. Ellis study notes, host material in packet. Two distinct collections moved to separate packets. One collection, by Fairman on Carya 10 June 1890 is possible paratype. The other, by S.N. Johnson on Carya in Arlington Mass., Mar 1892, is apparently not a type.
