    Donald MacPhail BRITTON
    BRITTON, Donald MacPhail Peacefully, at Hospice Wellington, on May 18, 2012 at age 89. Predeceased by his wife, Mary (Cronyn). Loving father of Anne (Terry Greenlay), Barbara and Robert. Proud grandfather of Scott and Ben Greenlay. Don was a botanist, scholar, mentor and gentleman. He spent most of his career at the University of Guelph, and was named a Professor Emeritus. Gratitude to Ann-Marie, Kveta and Susan for compassionate care. A private family service has been held. A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, on Saturday, July 28 at 2 p.m. (contact DMBmemorial@gmail.com). In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington (www.hospice wellington.org) would be appreciated.
