  Bejuco leñoso fuerte trepador que puede extenderse 30 pies. Posee hojas coriáceas con margen ondulado o liso y flores amarillas. Crece en pastizales, márgenes de carreteras y zonas de elevaciones bajas y medias de Puerto Rico y la Isla de Vieques. Está distribuido en La Española y algunas islas de las Antillas Menores. Hard climbing ligneous reed that can extend thirty feet. It has leathery leaves with waved or smooth margins and yellow flowers. It grows in thickets, along margins of highways and in zones at low and medium elevations of Puerto Rico and the Island of Vieques. It is distributed in Hispaniola and some islands of the Lesser Antilles.
