  Bejuco leñoso que trepa sobre otras plantas o sobre sí mismo formando trenzas de 45 pies de extensión. Los tallos son bien ramificados y ramilletes de flores amarillos. Es común observarlo amarrado sobre las copas de varios árboles de la costa, pastizales, orillas de carreteras y terrenos a elevaciones medias y bajas de Puerto Rico y las Islas de Mona y Vieques. Está distribuido en algunas islas de las Antillas. Ligneous reed that climbs over other plants or itself forming braids of forty-five feet of extension. The stems are well grafted and the racemes of flowers are yellow. It is common to find it moored on the canopies of several trees of the coast, thickets, and along borders of the highways of areas at medium and low elevations of Puerto Rico and the Islands of Mona and Vieques. It is distributed in some islands of the Antilles.
