• Description

  Bejuco leñoso trepador que puede alcanzar 15 pies de extensión. Posee tallo fuerte bien ramificado, hojas nuevas amarillosas o rosadas con olor mentolado fuerte y flores amarillas en ramilletes. Se puede observar en pastizales, bosques y márgenes de carreteras a elevaciones bajas y medias de Puerto Rico y la Isla de Mona. Está distribuido en las Antillas Mayores, Islas Vírgenes y algunas islas de las Antillas Menores. Ligneous and climbing reed that can reach to fifteen feet of extension. It has a strong ramified stem, yellow or pink new leaves with strong mentholated scent, and yellow flowers in racemes. It can be found in thickets, forests, and along margins of the highways at low and medium elevations of Puerto Rico and the Island of Mona. It is distributed in the Greater and Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands.
