Lvs up to 1.2-2.3 cm; lfts commonly (l-)2, rarely 2-4 pairs, those of longer lvs oblanceolate and up to 11-17 x 2.5-5 mm; venulation as given in key.— Collections: 9.
In desert scrub on limestone or perhaps sometimes on gypsum, 620-2500 m, localized in intermontane valleys of Sa. Madre Oriental and plains w. of the crest in s.-w. Tamaulipas and e. San Luis Potosí, from Miquihuana and Jaumave s. to Río Verde.—Fl. V-XII.
