  Planta epífita o terrestre que se identifica por las hojas carnosas e inflorescencia racimosa de flores amarillas que contienen una cantidad pequeña de néctar cerca de la base del labio. Es una planta rara que tiene su hábitat en zonas húmedas expuestas en los bosques secos de serpentina en elevaciones medias al oeste de la Cordillera Central. Está distribuida en Jamaica, México, América Central, Colombia y Venezuela. Epiphytic or terrestrial plant that is identified by the fleshy leaves and the racemes in the inflorescence with yellow flowers that contain a small amount of nectar near the base of the lip. It is a rare plant, its habitat is in humid exposed zones in dry serpentine forests at medium elevations at the West of the Central Mountain range. It is distributed in Jamaica, Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Venezuela.
