  Lateral view of a fruit of Eschweilera aguilarii based on Reinaldo Aguilar 12739 from the Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Note that this fruit is slightly younger than the other fruit shown and the calyx-lobes are more pronounced because the supracalycine zone has not expanded as much.
