  Fruits, operculum, and seeds of Eschweilera coriacea based on Mori & Veyret 8938 from the Comté River, French Guiana. Note the convex operclum, the erect supracalycine zone, and the abruptly contracted infracalycine zone to the pedicel. The lateral aril remnants can be seen on the uppermost seed.
