  Sori on the abaxial side of a frond of Dryopteris intermedia based on Mori & Rothman 28047 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. Note the sharp marginal teeth and the indusia covering the black sporangia.
