  Artificially opened flower of Celastrus orbiculatus based on S. A. Mori & M. Rothman 27928 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. Two stamens and part of the perianth were removed to show 3 stamens and the white style. The anthers and pollen of this species are white.
