  Calyx and summit of an ovary of Eschweilera pittieri based on J. Batista et al. 1067 from the El Llanto-Carti Road, Panama, Panamá. Note that the calyx-lobes are imbricate for nearly their entire lengths and the style is obconical, short, and obliquely oriented.
