Species Description - A glabrous or slightly pubescent perennial with a very slender rootstock. Stem about 3 dm. high, angled: stipules very narrow, semi-sagittate: leaflets 2-4 pairs, elliptic, veiny, glaucous, acute, mucronate, 1-3 cm. long, 3-10 mm. wide: tendrils of the lower leaves mere tips; of the upper elongated and sometimes 3-divided: racemes short, in the axils of the middle leaves, 3-4 cm. long, 2-4-flowered: calyx glabrous, cleft to about the middle: lobes lanceolate, acuminate: corolla white, about 15 mm. long: banner broad.

Discussion
This is nearest related to L. Arizonicus, but differs in the broader leaves and banner. It grows at an altitude of 2400- 3000 m.
