Species Description - Rootstocks creeping on trees or shrubs, slender, clothed with brown linear lanceolate scales, simple or branched, sometimes 8 dm. long. Leaves thin, various, linear, oblong, lanceolate or oblanceolate, 5-10 cm. long, 5-15 mm. wide, acute or obtuse at the apex, narrowed at the base into petioles 4-12 mm. long, entire or slightly undulate; sori mostly in 2 rows, one row on each side of the midvein.

On tree-trunks in coppices, Andros, New Providence : Florida ; Jamaica ; Cuba to St. Jan ; St. Croix ; Montserrat. Climbing Polypody.
