    Species Description - Villous; stems usually several from a deep root, slender, simple or branched, prostrate or ascending, 1-4 dm. long. Leaves oblong or oblong-lanceolate, 0.8-2.5 cm. long, more or less pubescent with long hairs, blunt or acutish at the apex, rounded or narrowed at the base, the petioles 1-2 mm. long; peduncles filiform, 1-5-flowered, mostly longer than the leaves; pedicels filiform; sepals lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, about 2 mm. long; corolla pale blue or white, 6-8 mm. broad; capsule somewhat longer than the calyx.
