    Species Description - Plants 1.2-2.5 mm wide, yellowish green to pale brown, irregularly branched. Leaf lobes ovate-oblong, apex rounded, plane or weakly recurved, ventral margin involute, dorsal leaf surface slightly mammillose. Cells in midlobe ca. 25-35(40) µm, trigones medium sized to large. Lobules well-developed, rectangular, 1/2 of lobe length, apex truncate, with a short, ± incurved tooth, 1-2 cells long, hyaline papilla at sinus towards ventral margin. Underleaves imbricate, subreniform, 3-6 times stem width, apex rounded to truncate, margins plane to recurved, bases broadly rounded, insertion line curved. Autoicous. Gynoecia with 1-2 lejeuneoid innovations.
