Species Description - Plants 1-1.4 mm wide, yellowish green. Branches with collar. Ventral merophyte 1 cell wide. Leaf lobes ovate-oblong, apex narrowly rounded, usually with a group of finger-like, hyaline cells, leaf margins otherwise entire and without hyaline border, surface smooth, ocelli lacking. Cells in midlobe subisodiametrical, ca. 20-25 µm, thin-walled, trigones very small, 1-2 intermediate thickenings, cuticle smooth. Lobules ovate, 2/5-1/2 of lobe length, inflated, surface smooth, keel curved, free margin incurved, lobule cells ± isodiametrical, first tooth erect, finger-like, 2-3 cells long, second tooth shorter, 1-celled, blunt. Autoicous. Perianths obpyriform, 5-carinate.
