    Species Description - Plants 0.7-1.1 mm wide, dull grayish to olive-green, creeping. Leaf lobes widely spreading, (sub)orbicular, convex, apex broadly rounded, margins entire or sinuate. Cells in midlobe 20-25 µm long, plane to somewhat mammillose, papilla lacking, trigones small or large, intermediate thickenings lacking; oil bodies 1-2 per cell. Lobules 1/4—1/3 of leaf length, hidden behind underleaves, strongly inflated, ovoid to elongate, keel ± smooth, apical tooth short-blunt. Underleaves bifid to 1/3—1/2 of length, large, 4-6 times stem width, contiguous to (sub)imbricate, broadly ovate, 1.1-1.4 times wider than long, bases broadly rounded, insertion line deeply arched. Autoicous. Gynoecia with 1-2 long, often fertile, lejeuneoid innovations.
